Conclusion

Overall, all three games have answered the main question of this report. Children, teenagers, and adults have thier eyes glued to games because of their unique characteristics and popularity. Additionally, while observing the players play either a video game, card game, or sports game, I have noticed that they all enjoy a game where the rules are flexible and can be changed. Furthermore, people enjoy making old games more modern which enters the stage of popularity. The more people playing a specific game, the more popular the game gets. The games that I chose for my players were appropriate for thier gaming skills becuase most of the games were very simple and straightfoward, none of the rules were confusing or bizarre. The difference between the video game and the other two games was that the video game was on a screen and played indoors, while the card and sport game was played either on a flat surface or outside. A similarity between the three games was that each game had it's own set of rules and objectives. The game that seemed more socially engaging was basketball, the sports game. The reason why basketball is the most socially engaging game compared to the other two games is because it invloves the most callaboration and team work. In my opinion, I think a game is most effective when a necessary skill is included.  The game that was enjoyed the most by the players was the card game, Durak. The reason why the card game was the most enjoyed game was because the players liked the idea of having more than one winner and only one looser. Most games only have one winner and the rest of the players are considered "loosers".  All of the games were interesting to watch and examine closely.
